Listone Giordano, a generic term for top quality hardwood flooring in Italy and many parts of the world, is hardly known in Britain.
Produced in Italy by the Margaritelli Group, the flooring products were created during the 1970s and developed further in the 80s in collaboration with Prof. Giordano, professor of wood technology at the University of Florence for over 30 years.
In addition to founding CNR, the National Institute of Wood Research, Prof. Giordano advised many organisations - the UNO, ECE and FAO among them.
Together, Margaritelli and Prof. Giordano developed an innovative wood flooring system characterized by new technology - Listone Giordano ? "the hard wood floor" offering greater stability backed by the best ongoing continually implemented improvements in wood flooring technology.
